Why you can actually get this job

The posting explicitly states 'Location: Remote' and 'Worldwide' scope with no geographic, authorization, language, or timezone restrictions. The employment path is contractor, so no visa sponsorship requirement applies. The target user's UTC-5 timezone is included in the source-provided allowed offsets, and no other gates are triggered.

“Worldwide” Geographic scope — No location restrictions stated — worldwide.
“Location: Remote” Physical presence — Remote-only designation confirms no physical presence requirement.
“Employment type as stated: Contractor” Employment path — Contractor engagement path means visa sponsorship language (if present) is boilerplate and does not disqualify.
“Source-provided allowed UTC offsets: -11, -10, -9.5, -9, -8, -7, -6, -5, -4, -3.5, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 5.75, 6, 6.5, 7, 8, 8.75, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 12, 12.75, 13, 14” Timezone — Target user at UTC-5 (Jamaica, no DST) is explicitly included in allowed timezone offsets; no overlap window restriction stated.
