Shape the Future on Autopilot

At Autopilot , you won’t just write code - you’ll shape the product. As a Product Engineer , you’ll own features end-to-end and help redefine what’s possible in fintech.

About the Role

  • You'll join a fast-moving team building modern web applications that process and optimize financial data at scale. This is a full-stack role with strong emphasis on backend engineering:

What You'll Do

  • Build scalable backend services in NodeJS
  • Develop responsive UIs with React Router v7

Collaborate on API design

  • Write clean, well-tested code across the stack
  • Optimize database queries and data pipelines (PostgreSQL)
  • Improve observability, monitoring, and infrastructure
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering practices

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in product-focused engineering
  • Strong ownership mindset and startup readiness
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, tRPC and OpenAPI
  • Comfortable with React + TypeScript for cross-functional work

Bonus Points

Payments or fintech experience

Exposure to Clickhouse/Tinybird

Exposure to AI/ML systems

Built high-performance, low-latency systems

Experience with tRPC/OpenAPI

Technical Review & Feedback

  • After the session, we’ll walk through your code together. You'll get feedback from us, and we’ll discuss your decisions, trade-offs, and any areas for improvement.

  • A final call with CEO to discuss your long-term goals, how you work best, and whether Autopilot is the right fit for both sides.
